Help Hangout missing 1 Contact

Wife and I just got Nexus 5 (on TMO). I noticed today, while use Hangouts, that I am missing one contact... My wife.

In People, she is there. Here Mobile number is set and I can sent a Text (hangout) from that app. But if I got into Hangouts, hit the + sign to see all the contacts, she is not in the list. All my other contacts are in the list, but she is not.

It is a minor annoyance, but curious if any one might have a suggest as to why People Contact list and Hangouts Contact List would be different.

Nevermind. I figured it out.

The wife and I decided to share the same Google account (same email) for both phones. That way we can share the same contacts list (since our contacts are generally the same). But seeing a few problems doing this, including the Handout issue.

When I tried to add my wife to Handouts via her mobile number, it said I do not need to add myself to Handouts. Hence it is confused by the fact we are sharing the same google account.
