Hangouts 4.3 No SMS

My hangouts update came in and I'm running 4.3 but I still don't have the SMS options. Anybody else having this same problem???

Hello, pendemic, welcome to Android Forums!

I got the update this morning and, shortly after updating, had a notification asking if I wanted to include SMS.

You could either uninstall/reinstall the app or try clearing the cache

I haven't gotten the update yet myself. It just keeps updating to v1.2, GIVE ME 2.0!!!

That was my problem also! Just search for Hangouts 2.0 APK download I'm loving it so far. Let me know if it works

Does it handle MMS too, like Google Voice, just SMS?

Yes MMS, SMS, GIFs, group texting etc. Although I'm not sure about Google voice

GV won't work until next year by all accounts: Google Hangouts SMS and Google Voice Won't Work Together Until 2014

Not just for the US... I'm in the UK and have had it

I don't have it, and probably not likely to anytime soon.

Just grab the .apk

I updated it in the morning so far it works great. Haven't had any problems. I think it runs smoother than any other SMS app I've tried.
