Changing the rules of the contest, in the middle of the contest, without even a hint to the people who read them is a bit harsh, but it's your site and it's your contest. I wasn't anywhere close to winning because I logged my machine off, then got the tweet of the post and by the time I logged back in...it was 3 minutes too late. You guys could have pulled the original post, and reposted it with the rules revised, or at least put the [Updated] before the edited rules post like you would for any other revised post. :(

I think random ones are the only fair way to do these. Give everyone an hour or 2 to get an entry in and pull from that lot.

Edit: I think it would be most fair to randomly select a winner from the people who posted in this thread..
 
Although Im hours late i still posted this link. Unfortunately im not sure how a bot works but this contest was definitely unfair. Since most of us haves lives and responsibilities the whole first post thing should be canned. For the prizes we are trying to win the questions could be a lil harder and can all be random drawings.

One idea could be to upload a video (as previously done) or have us search through an old video to catch objects or phrases from them, or trivia from old video games, how bout watch a certain show or webstream (cnet) and report a fact from it. How about name all the phones with android that are from at&T currently or whats the latest cyanogen from from a certain device, how many androids are pictured on a certain web page or a page created by u guys. Basically still fun but fair.

I feel bad for this elephant man. What happened to all of his peanuts? I think we need to get together a donation and help him out.
