just curious, who uses haptic feedback and who doesnt? i wouldn't go so far as to say that i love it but it definitely feels weird to not use. i've been using it since i got my phone and i tried turning it off yesterday (to see if there's any real impact to battery life with/without haptic feedback) but i couldn't deal so now it's back on. thoughts?

I turned it off the same day I got my Droid. I want the longest battery life I can get, and turned off virtually all unnecessary functions. I don't miss haptic feedback at all.

I like it. Lets me know I assuredly initiated whatever it was I pushed.

I do wonder how much juice it uses in the scheme of things tho...

I use it for some stuff, but there are a lot of apps that have the option to turn it on/off and most of the time I turn it OFF. I do not need haptic feedback when I'm typing. Umm ... no.

All to say, you don't have enough poll options.

I use it also. I like the reassurance of an instant response to my press to know it registered. I only use it with the four main keys at the bottom though, not with on screen keyboard or anything else.
