Help hard bricked...

so i was reinstalling the os it hard bricked. QQ no download mode, recovery, nothing, just a lit up black screen.
so i searched around and found the jig thing. do they work for fit?
i really dont feel like sending this thing from US to china and get it fixed for US doesnt produce Fit...

1. Connect your phone to pc with odin & phone drivers installed on it.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Hold down VOLUME (-) KEY+HOME KEY+POWER KEY.
4. Now insert the battery.

Now Odin should detect your phone.
