Hard Reset Fixes lots of stuff

I know this has been mentioned by lots of people about lots of different things, but it is still good advice. I was having a slew of weird problems with my phone. Random Restarts, missed notifications, etc... Well I backed up using My Backup Pro and did a factory wipe and reset. Problem free for 5 days now (except I didn't know how to back up angry birds so I lost all my levels :( .) So if you're having issues try a hard reset (after you back up.) My phone is actually running better now than when I first got it. :D

i dont use mybackuprpo...but with titanium backup you can back up the app and restore it with data after a data wipe

I did a hard reset last night, and my phone is definitely performing better, before I couldn't sync both my gmail accounts now I have both of them running perfectly. No lag issues, I guess during a hard reset is like restarting a windows pc in order to to get better performance :)

MyBackup Pro works for data restoration if you are rooted. I'm not sure it works for non rooted phones. At this point I'd be willing to lose the data to have as clean of a database as possible. I'm foreseeing a factory reset/wipe in my near future as well. I mean I can't even hang the phone up half the time and the other half the time I make my call and then go to hang up and have a message that says call didn't send.

And let's not even get into the constant "force close" messages I have. Or the duplicate facebook birthdays showing up....I could go on but I think just the act of me typing this has convinced me to bite the bullet and do it tonight.

It's been a week or so since I did my hard reset and i'm still running much smoother then when I first got my phone. I'm not rooted and My BackupPro still worked for me. I'll have to look into titanium backup next time so I don't lose my game data. Unfortunately I already paid for mybackuppro though.
