Root hard reset to revert back to factory?

Is this possible? Can I use the hard reset method to unroot and have my tablet like it was out of the box? Im taking it to get repaired and im not sure about rent a centers view on rooting...

Hard reset doesnt get the tablets or phones back to unrooted state. However, in your case I don't think you have much to worry about. Reset the device first. Best of luck.

Cool. The screen got cracked so im thinking theyll just give me a new one for now till mine is fixed...idk how they handle that stuff lol

My two year old son stepped on it...got lazy n laid it on the floor next to my bed before I went to sleep and he got up before me and came to get me up and stepped on it. Its one little hairline and you can only see it from an angle...still works fine though lol im using it now actually. (Huge lesson learned on my part)
I don't even know how their stuff works...I mean I know a lady that works there and she knows I have a kid, but im hoping it doesnt come down to "its your responsibility" which it is, and I can live with the tab as is...just hoping for a new one.

Let us know how it turns out.

Noted - Do not put Iconia on floor if 3yr old and 1 yr old are running around!

So basically what they told me is they don't do repairs but they could send it in and I'd pay for the costs. I'm not sure if the factory warranty applies since technically I'm not the first owner,so basically I either buy a new one or keep the one I have. Which it still works so I'm ok with keeping it. It'll just be my reminder to not be so careless lol

I've tried to unroot using the iconia root tool and it can't get it to unroot. I've checked via terminal emulator and root checker and I am still rooted. My question is would it hurt to try to unroot via gingerbreak?
