Hardware : X or Fascinate?

Which phone has more powerful hardware? I currently have the fascinate and I was thinking of switching to the Droid X.

The Cpu in both phones are pretty close, but the Gpu is more
powerful in the Samsung FN. It all comes down to what you
do with your phone, I would say.

im gonna agree with you, the build quality on the X is better IMO but it comes down to your personal opinion on this one, hardware is pretty close.

X wins in build quality, screen size, noise cancellation and onboard storage. Ostensibly better radios and GPS reception, too, though that's more anecdotal. A supposed fix for the GPS was released for the Captivate, with other phones to follow - whether that fixes it or not, who knows?

Fascinate wins the processing power battle, has superior pocketability, and has the Super AMOLED screen. I wasn't that impressed with the screen - it's pretty at first glance but the colors are super saturated which is a little weird for me. I do like the true blacks, though. But in any event, I think the screen question is largely a matter of preference rather than declaring an outright winner.

by the way, playing with the Fascinate's brother at ATT, it crashed on me and I couldn't figure out how to revive it. Fail.
