Has anyone been to Key West?

I am going to Key West for a week! I have only been there once for a day trip and I loved it..(of course Hemingway's house of cats was awesome!).but I was wondering if anyone has been there...and if so...any suggestions on where to go what to see..etc...

I'm thinking scuba diving would be fun?

yeah I gathered that from my day trip. I'm staying in the new town area on the water:)..althoughhhhhhhhh.....maybe getting in a little bit of trouble wouldn't hurt;)

Audubon? as in the freeway in Germany? I think there is a Ford house too?
I heard there is a large pod of bottlenose dolphins too!!!!

I think I remember maybe... the original birkinstock store when I was there....


I visited there around 10 yrs ago...ugh....OMG ;(

We took a little puddle jumper plane from Ft Meyers... the piolot was around my age at the time...maybe even a little younger! Yikes!!!!!!! but he let me "fly" the plane er...steer...? hahah when we were over the ocean....saw a whale too! It was awesome....can't wait to go back

That's Autobahn... in Germany.

I haven't been to Key West in more than 30 years. Rode out there on the old 7-mile bridge; snorkeled all over the area, and of course visited the Hemingway house.

I'm perpetuating the dumb blonde MYTH:P I think I remember hearing something recently about a controversy concerning his work? something involving some of the species..maybe using his illustrations of proving the existance of some thought to be instinct or native to the area??hmmm have to look that one up...

hey I thought that was on Sanibel anyway..no? or maybe I'm thinking the Nature Reserve..hmmm and is Magaritaville on Captiva?or is it Cheese burger in Paradise? WOW I haven't been back down to that area of Florida in 5 years!!!!! OMG that's just way too long! Used to go almost every year:(

3 yrs ago.. i was in Miami.. drove down to Kew West for a day.
it was fun..lots to see.. enough for 1 or 2 days.

but i cant see me being there for a week.
good thing you have scuba planned...
