Has anyone receiving HTC Desire yet ?

Morning to you all, has anyone receiving htc desire from t-mobile today in the parcel ?

Me, still waiting for royal mail. hope it come today (finger cross) :)
 
Yesterday , about 1.45 , over the phone though . Not sure if it makes a difference .

If it makes anyone feel better I've got to go work soon , so I won't get to get used to it till tonight ....

Still finger tapping here waiting. Way I figure it is what's a few hours when you've been waiting a few months. Plus I'm going to max the battery and not use it until tonight and am going out to watch football to avoid temptation.

Does it come with a pouch by the way? How big is the SD card?

No pouch . I can't see a SD card in the box , so I'm guessing I missed it when I put the Sim in . It's there somewhere I'm sure , just says pre-installed on the packaging .

Thanks for that. Shame about the pouch. Might not take it out the house until I get a case!!!:eek:

It does say don't sit down with it in your pocket , so I'm extra worried about scratching it . I think I'll have to look into getting a case of sorts - probably sooner rather than later .

Since I've never owned a smart-phone/android phone , is there anything I need to be aware of for screen protection . Obviously don't eat and then touch the screen but anything else ?

I cracked one by having it in my back pocket and sitting on it (whoops) and I've scrathed a screen by putting in my pocket with keys and money (double whoops). Whilst some don't like screen protectors, for the (ab)use I give my phone I defintely need one. Big fan of leather cases that are always stay on as I tend to drop phones, but it does spoil it somewhat and makes it so much more bulky.

Ultimately depends on preference and how good your insurance is...
 
mine got 8gb memory card in the box and 4gb memory card already inside the headset! Charging now for up to 3 hours max as it say in the htc desire quick guide manual instruction. start charging at 10:22am and ready around 2:22pm once it fully charged. it show tiny orange light on the top right side next to HTC name on it.
 
Can someone who has received it confirm the Royal Mail service it was sent on?
Mine hasn't arrived yet - although postie always tends to be late morning but wondering if it is guaranteed to come today or might come Monday.
