Has anyone rooted after 4.4 update?

Was wondering if anyone rooted their device after 4.4. If so, which method and site? Also, will it allow me to update future OTAs?

OTAs consider a rooted OS to be modified, so they don't update. You have to unroot, update and reroot.

hey I got a question, I lost root after unrooting and updating to 4.2.2 on my LG G2 for tmobile...any recommendations? maybe complete factory reset through the lg software?

As of right now, there is no root access with 4.4.2 as I understand it, at least with T-Mobile's D801. If you were rooted prior to updating you lost root when you either accepted the OTA, flashed it on your own, or used the LG Mobile Support Tool.

I expect that there will be a resolution to this within days or a few weeks to get root again. Just keep checking XDA and I'm sure someone will post it here once it's posted there anyway.
