Help Has anyone seen this on a note 3???

Has anyone had this issue with their Note 3? It seems it came out of nowhere. Can't pinpoint what could have cause it. The screen has a burn spot on the left side.

I see a big old thumb print at bottom of the dark area.
I think you just pressed ........
