Has T-Mobile discontinued the G2?

My daughter went in to a T-mobile store today to look into upgrading her phone and the rep told her they were no longer selling the G2. Was she smoking crack? Is there another upgraded model / G3 coming? If not, what other comparable phones should I recommend she look it?

thats news to me. i would go check other tmobile stores, call the customer service number, and check online.

Yes the G2 has been discontinued. The new similar phone offered by T-Mobile is the MyTouch 4G Slide.
