Has the camera improved after ROM update?

I find the camera is a lot more responsive. You can now touch-focus exactly where you want. How is the quality of the pics coming? I only tried in bad light conditions so far...

The hardware has not changed. All that is better is the focusing.

First time i done it my phone looked a complete mess - widgets and icons on top of each other and all over the place....a shambles

....Just did the process again with the same rom that i had downloaded (which cause the effect above) earlier and everything seems chipper

Whats that all about?

Think above problem was caused by my the my backup app restoring everything

.....need to delve deeper

Ok, i think it was because i had the home screen box checked whilst restoring everything with 'my back up' app

...the ROM itself seems to be super good

here is a test from gizmodo regarding my previous question. Definitely, the software seems to correct some serious light issues, but I am not clear if this applies only to the upcoming sprint-version:
