Has your 3G went out?

Yes. Error 67 is usually the result of trying hotspot on your phone. It won't clear itself. You need to reset your service. Call VM and if you tried hotspot, tell them that. They will reset your service.

My outage was not a resultof error 67. I wish it had been. It cud have been cleared quickly. Im jist glad to have it back......and it truly is better than ever.

You are probably in an area where Network Vision tower upgrades were performed. I work right next to an upgraded tower, and suddenly found myself getting much faster data speeds... I realized something had happened when I took a picture, sent it to upload to Facebook, shut the camera app immediately, and found the picture had already finished uploading!

This network update is proving to be ridiculous. It's caused nothing but problems so far. I'd better start hearing stories of Virgin catching bars all over the island by the time they're done or I'm gonna stop dealing with Virgin altogether. Their dealer support is horrible, it feels like they only have like 3 customer care reps in total working at any given time, and they don't have any mid-high level HTC phones anymore ever since they discontinued the Evo V.

I have also been frustrated with the lousy 3G speeds this month!
Whether it is for system upgrades (unlikely) or a fault with the VM contract to piggyback onto Sprint lines, there is no excuse for VM to stop the antiquated 3G service for all users...period.
There have been days where my phone has all white-colored signal strength bars and no "3G" symbol. When it turns green it only lasts for a few minutes...then goes back to being nothing but an overpriced paper weight.
During the time it is green with 3G speeds, it constantly downloads all the bloatware upgrades... and pictures that weren't able to open when the system was unnavailable. It's soooooo slow, it took 30 minutes to download a speed/ping test site. And, guess what? The program stated "signal loss" constantly when it was attempting to connect (ping) the closes towers in L.A. Bloatware is another VM problem that needs fixing because no one needs all these crappy programs; SCVNGR, Point, Twitter, etc. How can anyone Tweet with the horrible signal loss anyway.

Side note: DO NOT LOAD or upgrade FB onto any VM device because it will slow it down considerably since the network is already handicapped with ancient dial-up speeds.

Other users say, "you get what you pay for". While this is true, the average monthly rate of $45.00 for all contract/non-contract users should afford decent coverage in large metropolitan areas... especially on the older 3G signal network. The current state of VM signal loss is the worst I've ever had from any carrier.

Yes, we all should complain to the FCC about lax coverage (as one log suggests) to force VM to start putting their profit into the system... not their wallets. But, there in lies the problem; VM is one of the many beggars at Sprint's door trying to get a morsel of bandwidth AFTER Sprint customers get their share. This is why there is no signal during the days, especially in big metro areas, but late night upload/download speeds increase when most Sprint bandwidth is available. It's so bad in L.A. (zip 90027) that I am logging this rant via desktop because my phone is too damn slow nowadays... no thanks to VM's slow engineering processes.

I wouldn't wait for a new and improved VM system; go and find a better deal with a real cellular carrier; I am. Ask yourselves if the low monthly payment is really worth the headche and lost productivity (if you rely on the phone for business as I do). VM is just not worth it in the long run.
