Hate 4.0. Can I go back to Gingerbread

I kept getting messg to upgrade Galaxy 10.1 to 4.0. i thought I had to do this so just finished upgrade. I hate it. Don't like screens, can't find my old keyboards, don't like how apps and widgets are set up, have lost all my setups. is there anything I can do to go back to Gingerbread and get my old settings back? Hate the clock, all the stuff on side of screen. I can't believe how awful it is. From loving my tablet from day 1, I now can't stand it. Sorry to be so negative, but I don't know what to do. I have no idea how to root. I am fairly tech savvy on my computer but this is defeating me. any help very much appreciated. Thanks.

I bought my Galaxy 10.1 in June 2011 and it came with Gingerbread.

Thanks for your answers. Sorry I'm a real novice with the tablet. I don't think it is rooted. How can I tell? After my rant, I spent a couple of hours with 4 and I'm getting stuff back, but if I can go back, I'd like too.

Thanks again. Appreciate your time.

Apologies - I think I had Gingerbread and Honeycomb mixed up. It originally came with 3. I had an upgrade some months ago, which might have been ICS. What I updated yesterday looks like it is the new Media Hub, which I won't use, and which totally changed it. Sorry for the confusion.

Perhaps you have a Galaxy Tab 10.1 not a Galaxy Note 10.1?
Galaxy Note 10.1 was not offered for sale before August 16, 2012.

You all must think I'm a total idiot. Yes, I have a tablet. I didn't realize I was on the Note site. Sorry if I've wasted all your time.
