the jabra freeway, which i purchased a week ago, is the loudest and clearest i have ever used. i spent several hours on google researching this. i also read reviews from the last CEA show for all bluetooth visor speaker phones.

i have used the motorola t-505 for several years, and loved it, but the new jabra freeway is the best because it is even louder.

it is expensive @ $130, and best buy has it. you can return it within 30 days for a credit if unhappy. KEEP THE BOX AND YOUR RECEIPT!!

personally, i would NOT recommend ebay or an internet purchase, even if it was cheaper, and it probably is, because best buy allows electronics returns for non computer items for 30 days. read the back of the best buy receipt and the return terms/conditions also posted at the register!

it allows software/firmware updates via the included usb cable/charger. i already updated it, and it was pretty easy. a drawback is it is larger than all its competitors, but on full volume, it is actually too loud. to me, this is what i wanted. it clips on your visor. it has dual mic noise cancellation, super easy pairing and super easy voice prompts.

i prefer brick/mortar for fast refunds if needed, and be aware, it is in a wooden cabinet behind the activation desks in the cell phone section of best buy, to prevent theft. it took 3 different employees 20 minutes to find it. they didn't even know they had it or where it was.

it has won awards and has very favorable reviews - see google. if you drive with your windows down, and/or music on loud, this is a great find.

i hate and will not wear head sets, and i have already received a ticket for not using hands free in los angeles - so a visor speakerphone is my favorite.

a really cool feature is it goes into a deep sleep when you leave your car to save its batterey, and then automatically turns fully on when you re-enter your car (probably via a microphone which picks up ambient noise).

it fully integrates with your samsung sgs2 contacts and AUTOMATICALLY announces the NAME of the caller. motorola bluetooth speakerphones do this, their current best is the "roadster", but you need a motorola phone. if you do not have a motorola phone, just the caller id is announced if available and not blocked.

motorola's roadster is @ $99, and motorola also makes great bluetooth speakerphones, which i have only purchased in the past.. if the jabra freeway was not sold, the motorola roadster would be my 2nd choice.

jabra's freeway background noise cancelling via the dual noise cancelling mics is excellent, but not perfect. everything jabra says about the freeway is othwerwise true.
