Hate Google Now. Am I wrong?

I keep getting cards showing me the distance to this, to that, to the other thing I searched for. Weather here and there. I tried to turn it all off, but still have things popping up that I turn off one at a time. Is this a total PITA or am I missing something?

Not sure why you're having those problems. :( It seems to run great on my phone. Considering how new it still is, I'm really surprised there are not more problems with it. I think Google did a great job with this one, and I'm sure the little quirks it does have will be ironed out soon enough.

Change your settings. You can choose if and when all of those things pop up in that long list of Google Now settings. If you still don't like it, turn it off.

For me, it just tells me when I have to leave for work which is handy because I never remember the bus schedule and my work schedule changes. Whenever I'm not home, it tells me how to get there. Buut, I never notice it. There's no intrusive notification sound or anything. It's just there if open the notification shade, or go into g search. The cards disappear on their own once they're no longer relevant. And it's not a ton of work to swipe away the ones that don't. Only annoyance for me was getting scores for teams I hated because of a google search and until recently they didn't have college teams.
