Hate to ask newbie question

I saw where someone else posted this same question but didn't get an answer yet. Tried to root nook using win32image but when transfering the
image it says disk full. I tried using 8 and 4 gig micro but same results. I did format both cards. Or I would get an error#8 about volume. Card is not locked either but cards have been used before. Please advise, the only thing I did do was use a mcard adapter an not usb reader. Could this be the issue? Just trying to find the easiset way to get to the android market:D

With it plugged into your computer, right-click on "My Computer" and choose "manage". Then go to disk management (toward the bottom) and find your sd card. Is there more than one partition on your sd card?

I think formatting it in your Nook will remove any extra partitions, o/w they can be difficult to remove from Windows and might involve using command line scripts.
