Root Have SU but phone shows no root

I rooted my phone about 2 weeks ago with the odin and when i was trying to install Dropbox last night, it would not let me have SU permission. Kept saying my phone has not been rooted. How do i keep my phone from un-rooting itself? I didnt even think that was possible.
 
Your phone probably did the ota update which more than likely wiped your root and su permissions, just re flash the pre rooted tar with Odin again you should be fine
 
I will work on that as soon as i get home tonight. Thank you for clearing that up for me. Tried so hard to find similar issues that other people had but couldnt find anything on it.
 
Once again the enhancement update got rid of my root. Is there any way to keep my phone from un-rooting itself whenever the enhancement update is performed.

I hadnt gotten that far yet. I was meaning to do it this weekend but now it seems I'm going to have to re-root. I'm wondering if the enhancement update is to keep the phone from being completely rooted. I just really don't understand. =-/
