So as a replacement for my D2 they asurion sent me a D2 Global. I look and look, and saw nothing here, so I ask, is there any way to get Gingerbread on the D2g like the D2? or has that not been done, is someone working on it? Second, does anybody have the SBF file for the D2G? I rooted and realized that the SBF for the droid 2 probably doesnt work on the global. Thanks!

There's not GB leak for the D2G as of now.

You'll have to google and find a copy of RSDLite 4.9, as the copy in that link no longer works (got pulled by Moto), but there's plenty of downloads out there. Previous versions don't support the D2G's hardware, so you MUST have 4.9 to flash an SBF.
