Help Have to press hard to respond on Facebook

When responding to someone on Facebook now, I have to practically punch the phone to get the keyboard to come up, never was that way before. It only happens on there, not on regular text messaging. I have the S2 Galaxy, T989.

Uninstall the Facebook app. Turn the phone off. Turn the phone on. Install the Facebook app directly from the Play store.

If the problem persists, it's not a problem with the phone.
