Have to switch to Boost Mobile for a while... :(

Okay, so the past year has seen life throw several obstacles my way to complicate my status as a happy phone owner.

Four months after getting my first Sprint and Android phone, the EVO 4G, my work laid off half of my department. I tried to keep my phone active and paid with whatever pocket money would come my way but flash to three months later, my roommate who was on my plan further hurt our situation.

Then I was re-employed, by then I owed a lot of money so my mom, who has not yet let me convert her to the magic of smartphones, opened up her own account and let me get the Epic Touch as I paid off my plan which had my name. And then THAT job relocated and I could not commute so I had to contact Sprint, have them do something to it, and now it's in limbo until I can afford to have the phone fixed and have the ability to keep my payments up, I have a fund now around $500, my mom wants at least seven months paid to turn it back on, in case I have further job issues.

Three months later, my Epic is totally destroyed, it needs a new screen and new LCD just for starters, and I want the GSIII and Sprint, because I loathe AT&T, and Verizon and T-Mobile give me NO value for my dollar versus what I was getting with Sprint.

Sorry for the lengthy start of the post, but I wanted to explain my situation before proceeding...

*First off, on my Epic Touch, under the glass you can see more cracks than there is on the glass that you can touch. My boyfriend tells me this is the LCD and that a normal repair shop may not easily fix it, or that it will end up costing me more to have it fixed instead of just getting a new phone.

*Boost Mobile now is using Sprint's 4G WiMax, correct? Meaning that if Sprint had 4G coverage in my area, I'll definitely have access to 4G on the Boost network?

*Should I pay to have the Epic fixed, and flashed to Boost? Should I buy a new Epic online and flash that instead?

*I was considering repurchasing an old original EVO 4G for my daily use, if I flashed this is it more or less compatible with Boost?

*Does flashing a Sprint 4G phone make you able to use the 4G on Boost?

*Based on my estimations, within five months I'll have over $1,000 bucks to have all Sprint accounts fully paid off, and at least three to four months of the bill paid in advance. So, my last question is, when I go BACK to Sprint FROM Boost, will they allow me to:

- Transfer the number I had with Boost?
- Accept my Boost phone as a trade-in?
- Allow me to switch back to being a Sprint customer without having to pay any fees for not using Boost any longer?

Sorry, my experience with Boost is limited, and even my boyfriend, being a former Sprint salesman knows almost nothing definite. (His excuse being that when anyone came in to ask for a Boost or Virgin Mobile account, he would either convince them to try Sprint first or give the sale to a co-worker.)

Any answers are greatly, greatly appreciated!!!
