Help Having a LOT of problems with Gingerbread.

So I've searched around for solutions but haven't found any, and quite frankly, I'm overwhelmed with the number of problems I'm having with GB (2.3.5) unrooted, so I'm really hoping someone can help me.

Due to the number of problems I have, I'm pretty much convinced I need to wipe my phone (back to Eclair) and then update. I would prefer a rooted Froyo, but I want to see if anyone has fixed any of my issues:

With GB, I am currently experiencing:
1. Intermitent Freezing >1/day
2.Tether Manager Force Close
3. Google Calandar Time Shift and Duplications (Shifts appointments 3 hours earlier and creates a non-recuring duplicate for all appointments) I have tried clearing calendar data, reseting the sync, and deleting and re-making all appointments. No luck.
4. Contacts don't automatically link to Facebook
5. Calling, Messenger and Contacts apps intermittently becomes unusable. As soon as pictures are loaded, the app crashes and returns to phone. screen. WTF?! Pulling the battery is the only solution if I want to call anyone.
And that's just what I can think of off the top of my head.

I had ran a rooted version of GB, but the WiFi never worked. And I gave up on having to run Odin3 2-3 times in order to fix anything

I'm so over dealing with this phone. I just want it to work.
Has anyone been able to run GB error free (unrooted or rooted)?

I want to know if I should wipe and upgrade to a Rooted Froyo, Rooted GB, or Unrooted Froyo.

Please and Thanks,

Same problems here. But I don't use the calendar, I better not start. It worked much better before GB.

I'm just getting really good at taking the battery out with one hand in traffic.

I spoke to a level II Tech at Samsung, they recommended me to do a personal data wipe. Everything seems to work now other than the Google Calendar, which I believe is now just an issue with Google, since I have had the calendar syncing turned off.

I'm glad everything else is fixed now. And I'm glad I didn't have to go through all of the Odin/Kernal/Keis Mini procedures to reformat.

not the same, but issues.

Thing is, I did a complete data wipe/ factory reset when I first got gb, and it's been incredibly buggy since then.

Me thinks that Android OS are going the way of old windows OS; reinstall every six months if you want to avoid putting a shotgun in your mouth out of frustration.
