Help Having issues downloading applications from the play store.

Hey guys,

most of the applications i download from the play store dont install properly and a message pops up saying "package file invalid"
this has been happening for quite some time and is extremely annoying and is not letting me download applications normally.
any advice would be much appreciated!!!

Welcome to Android Forums Talal.

Try clearing data and cache for the play store and see if that clears it up.

Goto Settings | Apps | All | Play store and you should see the options in there.
