Help Having issues with Apex Notifier/Launcher...

Ok, so I have a Galaxy S4 (Tmobile version) and it is rooted. I had the Apex Launcher on my GS2 and really liked it, so I decided Id put it on the GS4. I have the Pro version and added the notifier as well. Ever since installing the notifier, it always has a 1 badge on the SMS, thus stating that I have an unread message even when all messages have been read.

I have tried EVERYTHING; battery pulls, re-installing it, etc, etc...

Im now looking to you guys/gals for some help. Please. What am I missing or overlooking here? The notifier worked flawlessly on my GS2, but unfortunately not so well on this GS4. Everything is up to date as well.

My YouMail does what you describe....to me.
But, if I hit the message again....that clears it out...usually.
