Hello there. Almost a year ago, I moved from an iPhone 3G to an HTC Inspire 4G. When I purchased the phone, it had Android 2.2 loaded. The phone functioned great and was exactly what I wanted. But after the 2.3 update of Gingerbread, I have had nothing but issues. I suffer from frequent system crashes (About once ever 1-2 weeks on average), and my Internet connectivity absolutely blows. Even with a full range of bars and 3G (No 4G service from At&t in the state I'm from), my browsers--all 3 of them--refuse to connect to anything. It usually times out or crashes. Also my call quality suffers majorly. Before, my calls were clear. Now, it seems like the signal deteriorates and comes back suddenly, making it difficult to understand people sometimes. I use the Google Voice application, and I have no such problems. I have checked for running services bogging the phone down, but nothing aside from system processes are running.
Also, I use the Facebook application and today I've noticed it takes forever (if it even loads) to load my News Feed. I have all applications up to date. These problems began right after the 2.3 update.
Is there anyway I can go back to 2.2 (without rooting, if at all possible)?
