So lately I've been experiencing problems with my lg ls670. It shows that I have about 16 megabytes in my phone storage yet I have a phone storage notification and it won't allow me to edit any of my contacts It also gives a insufficient storage error when I try to use the browser but I can usually exit out of that and still use it. Is there any way for me to delete files stored in the phone storage without deleting anything too important I'm using aSTRO File Manager. I have tried moving apps to my sd card and that doesn't seem to free up any space at all. I don't use my phone storage for media storage I have all that on my SD card and same with all my games. I've also been having problems with the phones touch screen it glitches sometimes doubleclicks sometimes doesn't register anything at all. the phone isn't completely unusable I mean I'm posting from my phone right now using the speak function. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys :)

Thanks and thanks for the quick reply too. I'm using app cache Cleaner and advanced task killer right now would that replace those?

At some point we all have to just accept our Optimus S phones have become pretty dated at this point -- there just isn't enough internal storage in relation to current needs. Cleaning out cache data will help but most likely give you just a brief benefit. Since it sounds like you've already gone through all your apps and moved as many as you can to your SD card keep in mind that this rarely moves ALL the app data over, there's typically a substantial part that remains in your internal memory storage. (Note the numbers in the 'Total', the 'Application', and the 'Data' columns before and after you hit the 'Move to SD Card' button.)
It does sound like some of your issues are tied to just lack of free internal memory space so if you can weed out and delete any unnecessary apps that should help. Also if you haven't already rooted your phone, that will open up a substantial amount of internal storage space. But again, our Optimus S's are aging so even the indie developers aren't focusing on updating ROMS for our phones at this point, most have moved on to greener pastures. Still, there's great, very specific, step-by-step guides in this forum (towards top of the page) that will walk you through the rooting process and even the older ROMS available are still quite useful.
