Apps Having trouble keeping eclipse

helllo everyone

am having trouble keeping the eclipse software, it was working fine for few minutes but now it has stopped again :( really had 2 do a task for tomorrow's session , any ideas of what other links are helpful where i can permanently keep the eclipse and android software? Also am thinking of getting a new laptop, any suggestions of which software is best to use? Thank you.

What eclipse software? What task? What session? What do you mean "where I can keep the eclipse and android software"?

Also am thinking of getting a new laptop, any suggestions of which software is best to use?

Software for a laptop? Better try a laptop forum. Make sure you tell folks what you want to do with that software.

I have to make an android application using the Android SDK tool, Java & Eclipse plugin software. I have downloaded them in the right way, but they don't work afterwords.

Ok thank you guys for the info, i have to create a mobile application for that one and ned to download a software for that, my college has suggested Xcode, Java SEE / Eclipse, but can't seem to have them permanently on my desktop.
