I was researching this issue as well. It's the same issue with MAX (cinemax) GO. Just blank screen no video but audio is ok. I think it might* be an issue with gingerbread. Not sure. Netflix is the only streaming video that works fine. Since it supports flash, you can go to hbogo.com and login from there (use PC mode) and it should be fine.

It (HBO Go) worked fine on my Evo 4G that had the same Gingerbread version as the Epic 4G Touch. This is an issue with THIS phone, and I don't understand why it doesn't work.
The Samsung chip is supposed to handle everything thrown at it. This is disappointing.

Yes you are correct. I just tried it on my wife's EVO. It works fine there...this is such a bummer. I watched a lot of HBO on the treadmill and the flash version on web-browser is too flaky. Any chance of HBO or Samsung fixing this? There are a lot of comments on the app in the market about this issue
