HCT One S black screen

I have a HTC One S and the screen went black. All the buttons work and the sound works,the screen just does not turn on. How can i fix this??
 
First diagnose the problem. Is it a bad screen? A bad connection? A bad motherboard? Once we know that we can tell you how to proceed. (We can't tell you how to diagnose it - that just takes experience and equipment.)
