HDMI Android TV Dongle advice

Hi there,
I'm after some information, I have a generic looking Android HDMI TV dongle, the box says that its a Amlogic 8726-m3, but thats all the info i can find, there are no model numbers on it, it looks like a very big usb flash drive and has no branding on it.

The information im after is can i flash it to run XBMC.... is it even XBMC compatible? Is there a guide any where? i have read many conflicting posts and am now thoroughly confused.

Thankyou for your help.

This is most probably f16ref_dongle reference board as base. I would strongly recommend not to toy too much with device unless you know what you are doing.

These devices stores bootloader on NAND, so if you corrupt nand device is bricked. Most of f16ref (boxes) uses SPI for storing bootloader so its much safer to toy with it.

And yes, M3 XBMC should work on that dongle, but...
