Hey guys, if your looking for cheap mini-hdmi to hdmi cables check out monoprice. I'll be ordering mine through them (I order all my home audio wiring through them, very good retailer). $5 for a 3ft and $6 for a 6ft..

I bought mine with the phone.. was $24 bucks!


To be honest, until someone hacks it and allows you to watch youtube, blockbuster and other videos via HDMI, it kinda blows.

The quality is sub-par and the controls are even worse. I'd say wait to see if someone can hack it into working better.
 
I saw on newegg and on google, you can buy the micro hdmi to hdmi adapter for around $6-10 . And just plug it onto the end of anyones existing HDMI cable from their tv. Plus you can play AVI's and Divx movies to your tv via HDMI so how can it get better then that?

download a movie, put it on your phone, then watch it on your tv. i Donwloaded kickass and hot tub time machine, and put them on my droid X and watched them on my DLP in 720p :D

How do you convert modern dvd's? I found 1 free tool but it doesn't work with a newer dvd release, like the avatar dvd.

Wait so you can in fact play AVIs through the HDMI?? Thats all I was really hoping to do with the HDMI cable. Might get one now...
