Help HDMI ( MHL ) and USB ( OTG ) not working after plugging into dock

Hi,
I've bought a dock (Unitek Y-2165 ). It has MHL and OTG support. But when i plug it into the phone there is only a notification "Dock plugged in". Phone is charging, but i can't see my pendrive in system. HDMI also not working. I tested in on Samsung android: 4.4, 5.0 and on JDC Team Android 7.1.1. I tested it also on Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and it's working fine. But not on my SGS4. On normal ( and only ) OTG cable pendrive works fine. Can you help me?

Possibly the dock is incompatible with the SGS4. Do you know if it's actually supposed to work with that phone? Check with the manufacturer if necessary.
 
From the manual: Unitek Y-2165 is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/Note2/Note3.
PS. I forgot to tell you, that sometimes USB OTG works with this dock. It's for really short time. Too short, to test HDMI.

Sounds like it maybe faulty then, in which case replacement is required. Presumably Unitek provide a warranty for their products. Unless it's the port on your SGS4 has gone intermittent?
 
On my SGS4 port looks fine. But i can say, that the plug protrudes only in my S4, on Note 4 it doesn't. Is there any cable with long micro usb plug on one end and short on 2nd?
