Help hdmi output... any app to make it work?

Well I do not know since I never knew that the tablet had a mini hdmi on it (thought it was normal hdmi when I tried to test a couple of players) but a member in here that is very knowledgeable about FT3 told me that the stock video player and image viewer is able to connect with hdmi.

That's disappointing to know. I was hoping to play angry birds on the big screen...
Why on earth wouldn't they include an app to turn on hdmi? It can't be that hard. The smartq I bought last year could do that, and it was manufactured a whole year ago.

While I was rummaging through the system binaries one day I came across one called, if I remember correctly, hdmiswitch [or something very similar].
Now call me stupid if you want but that sounds suspiciously like something for switching hdmi output on / off.
I could be wrong, it has been known to happen...
I can't try it myself as I don't have a hdmi mini -> hdmi cable but feel free totry it and let us all know if it works. Now you mention it I quite fancy seeing birds the size of lemons flying across my 32" screens...

I got mine on ebay for only a few $. There are also adapters for < $2. It's a good investment, I would say.
www. monoprice. com has them and there only 4.00 also if you menu twice while your using ccplayer or default video player it will switch to alternaitive screen
