HDMI question

I have a zenithink zt180v2 (I know......I know). I have been playing around with the HDMI but I was hoping I would be able to get HDMI to display everything on my screen...like play angry birds? watch movies? read a book? use my bible study programs. Just basically anything..is there an app that will allow me to use HDMI like that or is it videos? Thanks in advance for the help. I hope this is in the right forums and I did look at all the other HDMI threads before making this one.

Connect it with the HDMI input of your TV.
Depends of your tablet you'll mirroring your tab's screen on the TV or only playing videos of your media player on the TV

... and you have to do someting with the volume button ...

I can get it to display videos, but i want it to show everything. when i click on the volume button (i have to do that to display videos) it just brings up the menu, there is no hdmi output option on the other screens.

Seems your tablet can't mirror its screen on the TV, only can put out videos.

heres a video of a guy doing what i want to be able to do with his Archos 101. There isnt an app or way to make the tablet do what the guy in the above video is doing?

As I said in my first post, its depends of the tab (or phone).

E.g. my phone is mirroring its screen on the TV via HDMI.
So I could play Angry Birds on the TV.

But other phones puts out only videos ... sorry to say, like your tab.
