HDMI to TV with Comcast

Trying to use HDMI to my TV, but I get a box in the middle saying "HDMI connection detected". This is thru my comcast cable app.. Without HDMI it is fine on the 10.1. screen, but I want to see it on the Big Screen. How do I get rid of the Box.
