I've tried two different sets of headphones, and both give the same results. Pressing the button on the headphone cord always brings up the Call Logs screen instead of pausing/un-pausing music. It happens in both the stock Music app and the Google Play Music app. I tried using the Headset Button Controller (Trial) app from the Play Store and it had no effect.
The headphones were originally used on my iPhone 3GS but I tried them on my old Optimus V and the buttons work correctly.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Could the issue be specific to the LG Volt or KitKat? Does anyone have headphones/earbuds with a play/pause button that functions correctly?
