appologies if this is a repeated post but I am on holiday and the searching I have done from my phone didn't bring anything up.
a few days ago I was clever enough to leave my S4 in my pocket while in the pool and it had about half an hour underwater. after much swearing and hitting things I put it in the sun and then a bag of dry rice for 24 which to my surprise worked a treat and now the phone works perfectly... except...
the earphones connected icon is intermittent showing I have them in when I dont and this can flick on and off maybe 5 times in 10 seconds but sometimes it goes a while being ok
is this done with a simple switch that could be easily cleaned (rice may be stuck down there) or on resistance and the system detects a change in resistance maybe? either way any advice?
