Root Headphone Jack Not Recognizing

Hi There,

My phone doesn't seem to recognize anything when I plug in regular headphones. I haven't done anything to my phone's hardware, so I wonder if it's something to do with something I downloaded. I have a rooted D2G running a Hexen ROM, and am quite new to Android. Any suggestions?

There is no software that will make your headset jack stop working. It's a hardware failure, and will need to see a technician.

It wouldn't hurt to make a back up and SBF back to stock to check. Otherwise, Irv is right and its a hardware issue unfortunately.
