Help Headphone jack not working

I recently stuck a rooted kernel on my phone using odin. I then noticed my headphone jack wasn't working anymore. Not sure if it had quit working before I rooted, so I stuck the official non-rooted kernel back on and it still doesn't work. Did a factory reset with normal kernel, no luck. Have tried numerous headphones. Tried pulling the battery, rebooting with headphones in, and then with them out.

I think the jack is just faulty. I do have insurance, but will they honor it if they know I've used a custom kernel? My custom binary count shows 4 counts. Even if it's running "Samsung official" will they replace the device? If not, is there any way to reset that counter?

Thanks.

Bump. Anyone?

Edit: Well, I guess I can only reset the count with a download mode jig. Guess I'll wait until that arrives before going to Sprint to process my replacement...
