Headphone minimum volume

Anyone having difficulty with the minimum headphone volume being too loud? Louder than other moto devices in the past.

I tried installing the Fine Volume Control app which lets you change the max/min ranges but it hasn't been updated since June and certainly not updated for the Moto X - bottom line it doesn't work very well.

Any suggestions or other apps that may work?

I noticed this too but it hasnt bugged me much yet. (yet being the keyword here).

Incidentally Android has been notorious for having too low a max volume in the past. heh.

I just ran into the same problem myself. My headphone volume was about middle on my RAZR but now it's like 2-3 points above mute on my Moto X. Really annoying since I listen to podcasts all day.
