Help Headphone plugged in too hard

Hello there !Well it might appear hilarious but i do love and care a lot about my phone!
Last night one friend of mine plugged in a headphone really too hard into the audio jack of the phone..Well there is no problem with the sound and all but does plugging in a headphone too hard affects it?? Pls. help me out!

What do you define as "too hard"? If the physical jack connections aren't damaged then I wouldn't worry.

No..but will it dislocate anything in the circuitry? Sometimes small thing does not appear to create problem but a problem can appear from a continuous act.

Well, if it was plugged in "too hard" once I kind of figured you'd avoid doing it again.

Seriously, of course any excess force may cause damage over time.
