Help headphone problem!

Thanks Samsung for allowing every coworker of mine within a 10 foot radius to get a nice earful of the Joe Rogan podcast coming out of the rear speaker today. It was nice and nsfw.

I sure did not expect that to happen after I hung up on my voicemail, which to my surprise was also playing through the phone speaker instead of my headphones.

That's certainly not how my Droid X handled it.

I'm just gonna ask this anyway. Was the earplug plugged in all the way.

pretty sure it was, I was listening with them all day before that.

I'll try to reproduce it later, maybe it was a one time deal.

okay. I tried this again, same thing. This is ridiculous.

can't listen to my voicemail through wired headphones, and as soon as I hit play on Dog Catcher after I hang up, the audio comes out of my speaker instead of my headphones until I unplug and re plug them.
