Help Headphones context page

Hi all,

Long time reader, very infrequent poster, so go easy. I've just discovered the 'context' pages on the S3 and have the headphone one set to come on when I plug in my headphones. Excellent, works and the page comes up... except:

1) If I change the music player widget to the one I actually use (I have a Sony Music Unlimited account), it changes for that time only. Next time I plug my headphones in, it reverts to the stock player.
2) the frequently used apps list doesn't seem to change, and is actually a list of apps that I have never used.

Any ideas as to how to change these and make it permanent?

Can't say I've used the feature so I'm shooting blind here, but at a guess try:

Settings > applications > all

Find stock player and clear defaults
Find your Sony player and clear defaults

Plug your headphones in, set Sony player to use always.

Maybe that might help?

Can i add maybe try "default app manager" app?

Anyway as he says, its something i dont use. Dnt really like much of the samsung feature ware tbh :thumbup:

Sorry for delay in replying, been ill! tried your suggestions but they didn't work. I've switched the headphone context page off now as its a bit pants. Thanks ayway.
