are you within the PlayerPro app when you use your headphone controls?
on my phone, i have the default Samsung Music Player and Google Play Music. whenever i use any controls without being within the app, it will always default to opening the Samsung one. but if i start Google Play Music first, then start using controls, it'll stay within there.
