Help HEAP memory issues!!!!!

So i noticed on games Earn or Die, Bloons Tower defense 4 and 5, my cell will start to load the game and then freeze and reboot itself....constantly. The only way I get get around it is to hit the HOME button to return to the main cell screen and wait 2 minutes and go back into the game. BT5 says Im outta HEAP. My HEAP is set to the MAX, 48 but still it freezes and reboots. HAppens on ICS and GingerBread. Any work arounds?????
