Hearing Impaired

[Captainjim]

I recently purchased an Android tablet in hopes of helping my father who is virtually deaf. The tablet has a built in microphone. My hopes were that we could sit it in front of him and as folks spoke to him it would display the text on the screen. My phone will do this when I'm sending text messages and even email. For some reason I can not find an app that will run on the Android tablet that will do this. Does anyone have ideas?

Thanks!
Jim
