hey guys...

so ANOTHER issue with my phone... tho I'm not sure if it's the phone itself or my network...

here's the story... while back i posted about my home button getting stuck... so I sent my phone for a repair... in the mean time I was using my old GNex... couple days in I started losing my network... out of the blue!

I thought maybe something is wrong with the Nexus... called customer support, they couldn't find the solution...

So I couldn't wait to get my Note2 back...

Finally I did.

Then, the same problem started happening on my Note2....

So same issue... losing network.... two different phones, two different SIM cards.

I've been on call with Tech support 5-6 times... they told me to change settings and they tried resetting my account... now they are shipping me a new SIM card... I don't think any of these are the solution... though I don't know what it can be...

So I'm helpless.. and frustrated... I get internet via Wi-Fi no problem... then switching back to LTE it goes away, I tried the non-LTE connection, and it's not even worknig... I will have to then restart my phone and internet comes back... though, I never know for how long... sometimes an hour... sometimes more... sometimes less... so basically, super unreliable... especially when I'm out and I need to access email or dropbox on my phone.

Have any of you experienced any of this?? I'm at a loss... nothing but trouble since I got the N2... tho it may not at all be a problem with the phone.

Can this be caused by an APP?

I googled to see if others has the same issue... and seems that they have... but no one was able to find a solution... someone suggested clearing out the Cache... does anyone know how to do it on this phone?? Holding two volume keys n power key just turns my phone on... and I want to go into recovery mode and clear my cache ...

Thanks for any and all tips...

hold down power, home, up keys to get to menu to clear cache.

the only phone that couldn't work well for me with 4G was the Bionic. the Note is very reliable on 4G. not sure if you are even describing a general 4G issue, or just browser issues. which is it?

I know you might not like this solution, but did you try a hard reset? From your previous postings you also state you got muti-window support but still at 4.1.1. Maybe something buggy with the firmware you are running.

i didnt do a hard reset... if this sim card business doesn't fix the issue i will have to do that, so I can say i tried everything (it makes no sense its the actual phone, as this was an issue on two phones with two diff sim cards).... trying to avoid it at all costs... just set my phone back up to how i like it lol

Who is your carrier? When I had a problem with my Droid Charge continually losing 4G signal, I called my carrier (Verizon) to complain; they eventually discovered a problem with a tower in my area and repaired it. No problems since.
