So i noticed my keyboard wasn't popping up and i thought it was normal and i just needed to restart it but when i did i had to type in my password and my keyboard still didnt pop up. im able to type numbers in for the emergency call and lets me swipe before i need to type in my password. I turned it off and on. Took out the battery, and left it off for a day and this morning i tried to get on it again and my keyboard still isnt popping up. can someone please help me?! i can not go past my lock screen
 
what phone do you have? do you have a different keyboard app installed? are you rooted? gonna need more info to help you out
 
You could try clearing data and cache on the Samsung stock keyboard, that will put it back to defaults, if something funky is going on with it.
